MX standby protection

MX Standby is an integral part of Mguard. MX Standby prevents emails being “bounced back” to the sender in the event that your server or Internet connection goes offline. Emails are stored until we detect that your mail server/internet connection is back online.

When someone external to your network sends you an email, this email is routed directly to your mail server via the internet. Mguard however sits in-between anyone sending you an email and your network. When an email is sent to you it is first routed through Mguard, it is then able to check all email for reputation, spam and viruses – stopping them dead!
